Here is a charming 19th century tranquil streetscene showing lots of people, mainly ladies talking while doing the washing as well as children and dogs and a couple of old guys just observing. Lovely nostalgic window into village life of the early 19th century or earlier, super detail to the buildings familiar with many of the well known and famous names of this period, there is unfortunately no signature to this work which is a shame because it is clearly an accomplished hand and it would be nice to give credit to the artist responsible.
