This is a small Welsh dresser, it has been shortend in length by cutting down the centre of the base, so there is a visible line where the two halves meet, its not unsightly though.

If this piece was in its origional length it would be worth €4000, so it is priced accordingly and would be suitable for many more houses, still not being small.

The patina is lovely and has been  clearly built up by years of dark wax.

Although these are called Welsh dressers they were used all over the UK and vary in age from the early 1600 's til the 1850's . This one is certainly pre 1800 I would say it is about 1760 as the handles which seem to be origional would fit that period.
